A More Connected Groveland

There will also be walking access to River's Edge Plaza in Haverhill via Bates Bridge. The trail will be publicly accessible by multiple neighborhoods.

The Groveland Community Trail will offer future opportunities to connect into a larger regional trail network. It will connect with regional efforts like the Border to Boston Trail via Georgetown, the Bradford Rail Trail in Haverhill, and the to-be-determined Merrimack River Trail. Groveland's trail uniquely aligns our community with a growing state and national focus of recreational and rail trail development.
[Others Towns' Success]

The Groveland Community Trail will be a source of pride for current and future generations, and will appeal to all ages and abilities. When complete, this shared-use "rail-trail" path will create positive and lasting experiences for walkers, joggers, bicyclists, inline skaters, families with children in strollers, wheelchair users and other outdoor enthusiasts.

[Community benefits]

The Groveland Community Trail will offer a new way for parents and children to safely commute to school creating an alternative and safe route for families to travel to and from the Bagnall Elementary School & Perry Park School.

A proposed 3.25 mile, non-motorized "rail trail" path to create safe, healthy, and scenic outdoor experiences for all ages and abilities.
